Great Vid!! Shocks me how little interest this phone is getting when it packs such a freaking punch!!   Love this device so much i ordered a second!  But actually Huawei commented on one of my posts correcting the spec of 4050 to 3900 mAh battery.  They said the 4050 was the spec for the devices outside of U.S.  BTC

For the price, the specs on this are amazing. I had to rewind the video when you said 4050mAh battery. Huawei is showing that the "big dogs" need to step their battery game up. 2300mAh in a "flagship" device is absolutely ridiculous. This one actually seems really nice. The only knock is it ships running 4.3. I can't talk. I have a Note II on TMo still waiting for ANY form of 4.4. I didn't even know about this phone until I saw your video. Thanks, J!

I also brought the same phone in white color. It came with some more goodies as I expected, I got the flip cover and the same reverse micro USB cable.  What was your sub-total on your invoice? It's because my subtotal is magically $214 while the credit card company charged us full $314.

I got my huawei ascend mate 2 from amazon it was about 320 dollars with one day shipping. My box was sealed when i got mine from Amazon

I have received my 3rd Huawei Ascend Mate 2 and all 3 phones demonstrate the same problem: WiFi does not automatically connect/reconnect when I am within range of WiFi, even McDonald's Free WiFi. McDonald's Free WiFi is listed as a previously saved WiFi but will only connect after Restarting the phone. Then I tap the WiFi to Forget the McDonald's connection and WiFi will not reconnect to McDonald's WiFi again, UnIess, I Restart or Hard Boot the phone. 

After hours... on the phone with Consumer Cellular Customer Support, we have determined the only way to make the problem go away is to not use the Huawei Ascend Mate 2 for more than a one WiFi location environment or you must restart the phone every time you need to access WiFi at each location, new or otherwise. 

P.S. If I leave my home WiFi range and return home, I have to restart my phone. 

The Huawei Ascend Mate 2 works perfectly except for this one Major WiFi problem.
(Android 4.3 version w/update)

Does anyone have a solution? Besides get rid of phone.
