btw, the bios is what initiates the OS. this is what makes installing other os's possible, you can go into the bios menu and boot from a usb, and in turn install an os. If you ask what initiates the bios, well it's the cpu. power goes into the cpu when you press the on button

Perhaps you could settle an argument... A friend of mine said last week that contemporary Windows versions still using paging at the hardware level. I have a hard time believing that. So, is it true? Does Windows 10/11 still use 640k pages when addressing memory at the hardware level?
