I did Thesis based in Mech. Eng. In USA. The school paid for everything.

It helps in jobs only a little, and doesn’t reflect in pay from my experience. So get masters as a way to distinguish yourself.

What kind of engineering could I do with a master's degree. Would I get more creativity and autonomy while working? Also could you explain what kind of work is done in these subfields?
