Wavy Boats:

Disclaimer : We receive a ton of emails and messages from people telling us we filmed them at the ramp this past weekend and they want to know when the video will air. This is not a question we can typically answer. We film from three or more ramps every week and have a massive back log of content and sometime it could be weeks or months after an event occurs before we air the video. We put stuff out as fast as we can but we only air three videos a week and in a typical weekend get 6-10 episodes worth of content meaning we get content faster then we can air it. Thanks for watching and just be sure to keep watching looking for your content it will air but probably not immediately after it happens!

As a retired flats guide, this stuff is so stressing to watch. Yet I can't look away.

watching these videos, i have come to the conclusion that no one in florida can tie a boat or should own a boat!

This is like giving an 8 year old the keys to a Ferrari and telling them to park it in a congested parking garage.

OMFG. Tie off the bow, turn the wheel to starboard side, and nudge into reverse. The stern will gently pull itself into the dock! And apparently they don't sell FENDERS in Florida. smdh....

One of the many problems people have is coming toward the dock in line with it. It's much easier to approach the dock at an angle toward it and use reverse to simultaneously stop it while bringing the stern in.

The first boat operator and the guy in the Tahoe have about as much business driving a boat as much as I would flying a jet plane. 🤣

ALL YOU NEED IS ONE LINE AT THE MID CLEAT !!! YOU THINK FLORIDA would have figured this out by now!

these boats aren’t cheap, its amazing how many apparently totally dysfunctional people can afford them.🤔

Love that first one. 500 horsepower and not a single brain cell in sight.

I can’t imagine the majority of these people operating/docking a boat where the tide is running… Geezus

I have thought this for a while, but refrained from commenting. You would be doing many of these people a great service if you posted a link for how to secure a line to a post with a clove hitch. It is simple with a little practice, takes less time than wrapping the line 3, 4, 5 times around the post and will secure the boat, avoiding both the "tug of war" trying to hang onto the line or else having the line unwind from the post.

I remember my God Father had a cabin cruiser on the Ohio River and used an enclosed dock, sort of like a garage, all enclosed with a garage door to seal the dock. Even with that small entrance to go in, I don't remember him having this much trouble, but he was also prepared with one of us bow and one stern to tie up.

If you are going nose first every time, tie two dockines together, fasten one loop on the bow clear, the other on the stern cleat so when one person gets on the dock they have complete control over the boat...

@0:43 While I certainly enjoy the boat ramp drama, I much prefer the boat ramp comradery. There's always some random good Samaritan on the dock to grab your line or on another boat watching carefully and waiting in case they need to give you a gentle shove in the other direction after things go unexpectedly sideways. Its like "I too know how expensive and down right chaotic these majestic water creatures can be, and i got you fam." If everyone thought that way there'd be far less collisions and arguments at the ramps!

😂😂😂

So yeah, do those boaters be able to hear your running play by play announcements? 😅

Great video and keep up with the work! 👍

Whatever happened to, get a bow line on the dock and then use your engine direction and reverse to pull the stern over to the dock. It's better than allowing your boat to bang into everybody else.

How do they know what dock to use? Is there some for launching and some for retrieving?

Do people in the US sit there and watch videos like this with interest?
