Fun, when this came out I was homeless, in and out of jail, and unhealthy. Now I have a house, a good job, and a husband. This song and “Clover Cage - The Secret Of Life” are the two songs that helped with my depression. I just want everyone to know things will get better. We are in this together. I love you ❤

I was at university when this song came out. We used to sing it with our hearts out in the pub we always go to. Now I'm 34, I dont really have regrets, my twenties and late 10s were a blast and 30s are going fine. Just more responsibility and seeing the ugly sides of people, oh and the aches in my body. Now with even 2 glasses of rakı (traditional Turkish alcohol), I get up like a monkey the day after. And our favorite place is closed. And some of my friends are gone. Some people in my family are gone. Life changed, a lot. But im still glad that I get to live, im grateful that im alive and healthy. Life around here is not very okay tbh but we are alive, we have, or at least I have hope. This song brings back a lot of memories, amazing memories. I was 18 yesterday, where did the time go? :)
