For anyone that hasn't experienced a panic attack, let me tell can happen to anyone, anywhere, anytime. They are horrific. Until you have experienced one you will never know just how horrendous they are.

Micheal might see this as the most embarrassing moment of his life, but I hope he doesn't regret it because it inspired me. That may sound strange but to know that a confident, successful man is going through the same thing as me, which I always thought made me a weak, hopeless embarrassment of a human being, just reminds me that we are all human and this is just part of modern day life. I hope he uses the opportunity to talk more about anxiety and panic attacks to help normalise them and erase the ridiculous 'embarrassment' and shame surrounding them

nice to see some humanity in a celebrity every once in a while

Imagine if that door didn't open and he was stuck there awkwardly.

It's too bad that we are expected to be perfect.

Shit I got a panic attack just watching this. Every second you’re up there is like absolute magnified torture. It’s like something else takes over you. The entire time someone is addressing you, you feel lightheaded and unable to focus on the topic at hand. Then when you’re attempting to speak you feel like puking. The utter shame you feel after is awful because not only do you feel like you let yourself down, but you also wonder if you can trust yourself again. Anxiety kills you

Poor guy. Money or no money this is what we all fear.

You can hear his breath being taken away while he struggles to come to terms with it. It’s heart wrenching to watch. Those who have had panic attacks can probably relate to the total loss of control you experience. Poor dude.

You won't find a worse public speaker than me. In fact I think I'm the most nervous person in existence.

only people who have had a panic attack know how painful and heavy it is to carry every time, every moment, wherever we are the attack can happen without any sign

Nervous to begin with, which is fine, he'd have pulled through.
He accidentally spoke over the introduction from the presenter, then when he realised he done it, the mind scrambled. He's only human.

Did anyone else notice a 'thud' about three seconds after the sliding door closed? My guess is he punched a wall...we've all been there in one form or another.

As someone who suffers from anxiety attacks, it actually amazes me that this does not happen more often.

Yep, that's a classic panic attack if there ever was one. I've suffered from them for years. The signs are all there. They are brutal and you really do feel like you're going to die. But his physical movements, nervous hand gestures and the mind going blank, been there, done that.

You can tell this is anxiety / panic straight away from the moment he firsts enters the stage look at his body language and the leg swing when he shakes the guys hand. It must of been horrendous for him. Some people are just not made out to be great public speakers and I am one them I suffer with anxiety myself. Kudos for even walking out on that stage I couldn't do it myself. The moment after he walked off and the emotions he is feeling must of been tough I have been there myself it isn't nice. Why are people so critical? that is what is wrong with the world today. Anxiety / Stage fright and Panick attacks happen if that was me walking out I would of been like f**k this haha! it happens but fair play to him for even attempting it if he has anxiety. :)

Public speaking is hard. Say what you want to say about Michael Bay. I don't wish that experience to anyone...

Whenever I have to speak in front of my class my heart starts beating out of my chest, I look away from everyone to avoid having them see how anxious I am, and my voice gets wobbly, weak, and more high-pitched. I realize how irrational it is to be afraid, but I can't control it.

I felt embarassed watching this. Can't blame him though, there were a ton of people at CES and he's only a human... Things like this happen.
