KOLD - Canon 80D Review

So Canon asked me to do a review on the Canon 80D camera, so Ari and I took it out on our trip to Paris and had a blast shooting with it. After using it for a full week, I think it's a great camera for both photos and videos, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a hybrid DSLR! My favorite part was the autofocus system.

I got the 80D and I love it :) I think the lens is actually more important than the camera itself, though. Even more so: I think is the most important way to go about getting great video results.

I can watch shitty quality with great audio and a good story. But I would click away from a video with audio that makes my ears bleed and a story that is non-existent.

I want everyone to go to 1:15 and just observe how Sam is going the extra mile to get that shot. That kind of eye and creativity is not present in every individual. You have a true talent Sam, love it

I've thought about upgrading to the 80D but I was actually just making a short film in West Africa with my 70D and it turned out gorgeous, African Love it! Ghana be honest, You'd probably like it too.

If people spent as much time asking for "other small youtubers for support'' as they spent on improving their filmmaking maybe they would have larger audiences. I understand wanting feedback and opinions on your work but when I go to someones page and find the same ol' random clips thrown together with "fancy" transitions and a LUT thrown on with no additional color correction its kind of funny...

Dont get me wrong, I used to do the same thing until I realized that storytelling is WAY more important than the fancy stuff. I dont think there is anything wrong with cool transitions or the teal and orange look (in fact I use them myself) but they mean nothing without a good story, PRIORITIZE PEOPLE!
