In this video we finish up the rear brake job we started on this Express van but I think most of the time is spent harassing Mrs.O. Needless to say the brake job turning out good and the new tires ride nice and smooth! -Enjoy!

Dear Eric I worked 8 years as a heavy repair tech at GM dealers, then another 34 years at GM engineering at the tech center/Proving Grounds and Cadillac Assembly LGR. I was an ASE Master certified and have an Automotive Service degree. I retired during covid do to health issues. Having said all that, I am qualified to review technical automotive videos. After all that, I must say I am addicted to your channel. You are what I consider a top tier repairman. Your shortcuts are prudent and the hand of experience. Most techs take WAY to many shortcuts.

To the readers out there, keep in mind how much stamina and strength it takes to do this work day in and day out. It's brutal. Most techs start realizing this earlier in their careers and find other easier ways to make money. Eric appears to be in it to win it- he will work until life dictates change. I salute you Eric- you are the best in the business. Running your own shop is another underappreciated point in these videos. I watch because I can't do this work any more. In spite of all the above- I continue to learn from you. Just wow dude! <SALUTE>

If i can't get around to fixing something on my truck, i usually rinse the area where he'll be working on making sure its not hot "engine bay and brakes" before dropping my truck off. Also stop by and drop off a 12 pack of soda or doughnuts and tip the guy after he's done. I made great friends this way and got the best service too. Thank your technician for keeping you on the road.

Damn, there is a dynamic with your wife that I just don't see anywhere else. This is awesome and reminds me there are still marriages out there that last longer than 5 seconds

I just watched this two part series because I'm about to take a peek at the brakes on my Chevy Express cube van before I take it across Canada for the second time. Couldn't help but make a comparison between how you and Mrs. O get along and how my wife and I do. We've been married for 30+ years and she does still bring me coffee but only in the morning to help get me out of bed, then she ignores me the rest of the day. Also, coincidentally, she just helped me with bleeding the brakes on another vehicle where it went very smoothly. I wouldn't say the flame is still burning strong but we are happy to be stuck with each other. She has been doing some of her own repair jobs but I think it's because my health isn't so great and she's preparing herself for the inevitable.
Your videos are a great source of information as well as entertainment. I wish you and your family the best.

when you said " after 17 years, I'm still on that high" Mrs. O looked at you with the biggest smile on her face. You should have turned to her and planted a big on on her! This interaction is good for your channel. Need new videos. please!

Better get Mrs O's car done soon, Eric. Remember, happy wife, happy life.

I watch your repair videos religiously and they're all very informative and very entertaining but having Mrs O interact with you during the repair puts them over the top. I realize it slows the progress of the job down but you should really do this more often.
Thanks for all the help you've given me and others.
