My rear door doesn't open from the inside. Anyone know how to fix this? And yes I checked that the child lock isn't on.

You bracket does not fit the first door handle /license plate holder. You switched it out with the old one to put the bracket on! It does not fit the first one you put in! way to go on deceiving us.
