I just found a much easier and faster way to do this. simply remove the 3 10mm nuts, gently pull back on the lense cover to loosen it. Use a flat head screw driver and "gently " pry the lower end of the lense cover where it pivots on the door hinge top. Push up on the lense at the same time. It will pop off the pivot point, swing it out gently and remove the upper socket. replace the bulb and reverse the steps. much easier!!!

just curious... did you find that you had forgotten to install that 1 upper right headlight nut Before you reinstalled the upper black cover?

To get the trim piece off you have to slide the white trim tabs out by pushing outward on the top one and outward and up slightly on the lower one. You can replace it in reverse order only. Bottom first down and in then rotating the top fitting the clip and pull inward. Use a flashlight to see what your doing and I use a regular screwdriver just to position the tabs because they free spin. DO NOT TRY TO PULL THEM OUT. YOU WILL BREAK THE TRIM PIECE.

The PROBLEM with these is freeing the clips on the trim piece without breaking them. POOR job of finding the right example in this video
