This is the only way I’ve seen to make scrunches so far, but cool! Thanks for the good tutorial.

This video was so well done! My eleven-year-old just sewed her first scrunchie following this method, and now she's onto number two and has plans for at least 71 more with a whole bunch of fabric she just inherited! 😄

This is a common technique called the "Burrito Method". Still is effective, however before turning loop right sides out, I insert elastic through tube, stitch elastic ends together, then pull it all through the 2" opening I've left. This achieves the same end result, it's just a bit easier to thread the elastic right through the center of the tube, rather than fish it through once turned right side out. Beautifully made video!

I like that you sewed the elastic instead of doing the knot so that the elastic is smooth inside of the scrunchie. This is also nice for slim scrunchies which are my faves.

Thanks so much for this tutorial!! Looking at it the first time it seemed quite complicated (I’m a sewing newbie) but once actually following the instructions, it was super easy and intuitive dare I say? 😁 I made 2 different sizes back to back and they look great ❤🎉

I've been sewing scrunchies with this method for a few years, it's really the best way! Instead of stitching the elastic I just tie the elastic ends together before stitching the scrunchie opening, and just add an extra inch or so to the elastic measurement.

Cool. I add the elastic before I turn mine over. Good job.

In my Google search I studied each thumbnail on this tutorial and chose this. Once I realized it was Seamwork, I knew I'd hit gold. This method is fantastic! Time for some birthday party loot bag treats ☺️

There’s an easier way when doing the elastic. Before turning the scrunchy right side out, you slide your elastic through the tube; tie the elastic in a knot; then turn it. I think it’s a real time saver.

I followed this tutorial and omg after the first mess up by sewing it right side up I started over and did it the right way 😅 (made a mini 18”x3”) and it turned out perfect. I just need to work on the top stitch to close the scrunchie thank you so much for this video.

Wow how easy are they. I have avoided the scrunching making too fiddly but since watching your video I have made seven (7) for our 70th birthday party this weekend. Thankyou so much.
