How to Make a Scrunchie | DIY Scrunchie Tutorial

If you don't have a sewing machine you can use a hand backstitch.
RTS = right sides together

Metric Conversions:
1/2 inch = 12mm, 1/4 inch = 6mm, 9 inches = 23cm, 22 inches = 56cm, 3.5 inches = 9cm

Instructions were easy to follow, but I found that the elastic was a bit too long. I did not want my scrunchie that loose. I trimmed off about 1.5 inches of the elastic.

I used 8 inches of elastic and that worked well! I also handstitched the last seam with a ladder/ invisible stitch to make it invisible.
