This is still the most popular Battlefield game...

I’m still upset that they stopped support early for BFV to put all their effort on BF 2042. There was a lot of data-mined guns and gadgets that never made it in the games due to the support ending early.

Why did they not carry over the movement mechanics from this game? The prone animations, rolling to prevent damage from a high fall, running while crouched, these were all such cool features that gave the game so much character.

BF5 is such a mechanically well done game. The movement, the destruction, the vehicles have destructible pieces, the hit detection was really good, sniping is fun. Guns are unique, and the atmosphere is crazy. The attrition created teamwork. The building allowed for realistic defensive gameplay. Sound design was immaculate, all gamemodes were fun. This game had a boom stick you sprint into tanks with and blow backwards…it was such a great game after all the big fixes

BFV is super underrated, I still play it a load. Such a fun BF game, it's such a shame that they stopped post-launch content before they finished it up. Imagine the Eastern Front!! The Eastern Front by itself was the largest war in human history (if you break down WWII into the separate conflicts that accumulated to become WWII), it's very disappointing that the game was not this popular back then to give the devs the confidence they needed to continue with content. Regardless, it's nice to see it finally getting some love

The best thing about BFV was how good it felt. Most modern pc's can run it Ultra, 144fps quite easily. Very optimized experience. The gunplay felt good, sniping was more forgiving on bullet drop and overall the gameplay was just really good for what it was.

Tank hunting was my JAM while this game was coming out still I found that this game did it best of all the battlefield games where players had tools to kill tanks but tanks were many times stronger which made people resort to tactical approaches with smokes and careful hiding in bushes.

Played this game 2 days ago after 3 years. My god, the movements in this game is probably the best in any fps games.

I used to play with a couple lads who did something like this back in the BF2 days. They'd play the same 24/7 Strike at Karkand server, on the MEC side, and sit and protect the peninsula from getting flanked by the US side. It was most intriguing! We became friends and I was their medic till we moved onto BFBC2. So much fun; the unsung heroes of Karkand!

The tank killing guys remind me of Levelcap and Matimio’s double vision series from back in the day. I particularly remember they making the quite unassuming Jeep a deadly weapon. Battlefield games have so mush unrealized potential.

Loved to play the medic in breakthrough.. throwing smoke, rush behind enemy lines, close combat fights and revive your mates. BF5 was a great time for me ❤

I've been playing playing Battlefield V as main go to lately. I literally can't get enough. The play styles are never ending. That's why I appreciate this game compared to Battlefield One. As slow as you want it and as action packed as you make it. Always a great time watching Jack play.

Still play BFV. I can still enjoy it everytime I play it. Had potential to be one on the most memorable Battlefield games. Breakthrough is definitely my go to game mode for it nowadays.
