What do you miss most about ho- NACHOS

Where are you from originally? - Pullman, Washington - a small university/agricultural town near Idaho (and yes, the potatoes are amazing).

What do you edit with? - Adobe Premiere - it's pretty much all I've ever used since high school.

Aren't you ever freaked out by leaving your camera behind to film yourself? - Yep. But not too badly - I tend to be careful when I do.

Do you make money off YouTube? - Ha, no. I wish. It took me over 500 videos to make my first $100 off adsense. I think it will slowly change, but VERY slowly.

I saw one of your vlogs yesterday, can't remember which one was it, and I literally took note of every french phrase you used when visiting a Viennoiserie, like Je Voudrais, Café allongé, La Tartine, etc. It will be very very useful if you can make the same but when going to a fully fledged restaurant, shopping for clothes, or groceries, or in museums, in a public market, at the airport, hotels, etc. Just a quick 5-minute segment on your vlogs with common phrases on specific travel situations.

You need to find stores with names such as Stockomani, Le Bon Plan or Noz. They have way discounted stuff all year long if you need them. Much cheaper for basically the same quality and same style as Celio, all year long. Oh and you can also find cleaning products and some food there too.

I wanted to see what you flashed on the screen @ 0:18, but it disappeared so quickly. So I replayed it at a slower speed ( 0.25) now I'm disturbed. The music sounds so strange. 😨😱At normal speed it's sooo sweet, love the bassline. I haven't been to Châtelet for ages, it looks great now with that roof. There's also the shops on Rue de Rivoli like C&A, we don't have any of their stores in the UK any more.

Great vlog Jay, love all these areas and am there all the time. In fact I was at Les Halles swimming and Miznon for lunch yesterday so must have just missed you. Apparently BTW the worlds largest shopping mall is in Toronto not Les Halles, who'd a thought.

Inexpensive small shops in the First Arrondissement- Boul' Mich-St Germain areas. That renovation at the underground mall looks awesome!

I'm not the greatest consumer out there either - I know where you're coming from exactly, I was in the same place you were several years ago and now I would be labeled a minimalist. I feels good to just live with the essentials and not have a collections of junk accumulating in the apartment. Aside from that being frugal is how I have moulded my mindset after having gone through a major bankruptcy which was an immense weight off the shoulders as you have described it.

200+ space invaders! I spotted my first last week near the Pont Neuf on my vacation to Paris. Now I’m back home in USA. I’ll have to look for the ones in LA when I head there later this year =) I’ll continue enjoying the ones in Paris virtually through your videos =)
