==== ABOUT LES FRENCHIES ====
After 32 years in the US, the Duponts moved to France where Antoine was born. Antoine is rediscovering his homeland and sharing it with his American wife Colleen. With the help of his brother Vincent, a renowned Restaurateur (and food snob).

They are on a quest to find the best France has to offer.

There are over 35,000 villages in France, all with their own history, culture, and food. We are on a journey to discover as many of them as we can together. Let’s go.

🥖🍷 Food & Vines. 🎭 🏰 Culture & History. 🎨 🌳 Art & Nature.

Les Frenchies should give small group tours for visitors. I'd be the first to sign up!

I've gone to Marches. They're so fun. Paris is like a giant Easter Egg Hunt! Thank you for this video

I’m in such aww of the manner in which the French display food. It’s like art! One can’t help but to want to eat good natural food. The opposite of the US’s view of food. I wish that the US could view food in such a way. Thank you for the video, it’s like I’m shopping with you until I get back to Paris! 🥰 💃🏽

When I lived in Paris, I typically went to Marche Popincourt (metro Oberkampf) open Tuesday & Friday. It was about the same distance for me to go to Bastille, but I just preferred this one. Plus, it's also a short walk from Canal St Martin, a great place to picnic.

I’m glad Bastille Market is in #1!! I came across it in 2018 (while celebrating my 60th). We had fresh oysters and sparkling wine for brunch! Heaven! Paella looked pretty good too! Produce is top class!

The marche at Versailles is also a beautiful one to visit when you are there. You can pick up some wonderful things to have a picnic in the gardens or along the grand canal. Highly recommended.

Omg i miss french markets and cuisine so much! I used to love walking around in the different areas of Paris and picking up some food on the spot at a random market.
The cheeses, charcuteries and breads are of the highest quality!

Grenelle is local for me and my fave. When I take visiting tourists they find it hilarious that there are bras next to fish :)
I have built a huge costume jewellery and scarf collection from there, and I like that being under the metro, you're covered in case it rains!

As someone who shares his life between Paris and the US I think your videos are spot on. Insightful, pleasant to watch, honest.
PS: @Antoine the spice that you got on your Pita snack at Monge market is called SUMAC, and yes it tastes like a lemony thyme thingy😉

You two made navigating Paris truly amazing! There were times where I pulled off the side of the road and watched your videos, to help me navigate. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I can't wait to go back. Rue Mouffetard was my favorite little area. What transformation that area goes through from morning to night.

Thanks for this! Markets are a good idea that I did not go to in the few times I've been to Paris - always rushing around. If I get back to Paris again, I will take time to enjoy places like the markets. That looks to be more fun than trying to squeeze in of so much "sightseeing" of landmarks.
