==== ABOUT LES FRENCHIES ====
After 32 years in the US, the Duponts moved to France where Antoine was born. Antoine is rediscovering his homeland and sharing it with his American wife Colleen. With the help of his brother Vincent, a renowned Restaurateur (and food snob).

They are on a quest to find the best France has to offer.

There are over 35,000 villages in France, all with their own history, culture, and food. We are on a journey to discover as many of them as we can together. Let’s go.

As a Parisian myself, I'm surprised by how good your suggestions are! Not at all stereotypical, and you really picked a little bit of everything! Variety is one of the things that make our cuisine so great and you seem to understand that

I love you two guys! i paid a visit to Paris from Ireland for 3 days. It was fantastic and on the final day as i was sitting outside a cafe, who did i spot across the road on two scooters 🛴🛴waiting for the lights to change was 'Les Frenchies' i waited for you to pass so i could shout hello! 🤪 but a truck blocked my view of you 😪 I was still so excited to see you both. I love watching you. Keep up the good work guys. You do Paris proud! ❤

Oh Antoine, you spoke right to me - I lived in the US for 9 years and I missed the boulangeries as much as I missed my family!!!!

You guys are life savers to us who are travelling to Paris but know nothing about it.

We tried so many of these and loved them all. My 10 year old was the one who wanted escargot and she loved it (as did my other two kids). Food is such a wonderful way to experience a culture and when it comes to France, sign me up.

You guys define joie de vivre. I picture my wife and I meeting with you in the Saint Germaine in the late afternoon and sipping on an onion soup while going over the memories of the day. Ooh La la

Gorgeous... I am French and Parisian but I must confess (unfortunately !!!!) that mussels and french fries are not at all a french dish. it's belgian. I must correct that for the sake of my Belgian friends !

As a born and raised parisian, I must say it is pretty accurate except for crêpes, best crêpes are in Montparnasse area in Rue du Montparnasse, mostly because it is the Bretons area. Fav is La crêperie de Josselin !
And I suggest you to try the best frog legs you could find in Paris at Allard restaurant in Saint Germain area.

Something you never mentioned and that is very underrated, sadly, is "rillettes". Whether it is made of pork, duck or goose, the taste is to die for. Could eat fhem till I drop 😂.

I loved the way you used the shell as a cutlery to eat the mussel. Very cool technique.

All great suggestions….my lucky number is 13 so 3 additions….pan bagnat (French roll filled with Nicosia salad)….tarte tatin (French apple pie) and mouse au chocolate a la volunteer ….huge bowl of great chocolate mouse brought to the table and take as much as you like….generally the whole bowl !

We’re planning to come back with my daughter to Paris with my daughter this January and I’m making notes with your suggestions - thank you so much for your incredible informative videos, we appreciate and enjoy them so much! I have never been in Paris in January - hopefully it’ll be good, but as we all know Paris is always a good idea!

I would recommend:- crepe suzettes in the lovely orangey sauce and flambed with grande marnier.

Instead of profiteroles, everyone has already tried them, try Paris brest; it is a choux ring with more interesting fillings.

For chocolates try Valrhona and also Maison au Chocolate.
