When you’d walk the rows, you’d see all the little heads sticking out being nosey but there were hardly any bugs. Lol

Corn or milk snake. You want non venomous snakes, they’ll eat your mice! No need to kill a harness snake. Also fun fact, baby venomous snakes are NOT more dangerous. They can not control their venom but they have MUCH less.

I used to collect snakes and put them in my garden. Had all sorts of frogs from the pond as well. We were all eating well. King snakes, garter snakes, rat and gopher snakes... kept the rattlesnakes out of the yard.

Not a Copperhead for sure. They dont hang out underground in an open area like that. They are in the woods and leaf piles and such, mainly for camouflage.
