A lot of times thats NOT your parents. They knew you from high school. Not from adulthood nor your personal struggles which sometimes they are part off.

And NO i do not have 10 Best friends to do this, barely a handful that truly know me.

The other side of this is also having post self awareness. Meaning, getting an understanding of what all has taken place in your past and particular your younger years that are influencing actions and decisions you’re making now. Without that, taking this approach is just putting bandages on wounds that will eventually fester back up. Those ten people can only say what they see in a microwave.

Cant ask somone that isnt self aware, sadly enough my parents dont know the consequences of there own actions so i lovingly correct them or not correct but lovingly critisize constructively
