My high school would put on a skit during Friday mass of the Our Lady of Guadalupe story. They attached blue strips of fabric to two industrial fans and turned them on to produce the ethereal effects around Our Lady. I always liked it.

Where are Libby and Kai!?! You've just rocked my world! But I guess we've just started a new Church year, so I the timing of new hosts make sense. I'll definitely miss Libby and Kai - hope you are both well. Welcome Nick and Gabby!

Mary is dressed like a Jewish maiden with an Aztec black sash representing pregnancy. OL of Guadalupe has green eyes, a mestiza.

they do is about an apparition of Mary as an Indigenous woman! I do love the series just would love to see the diversity of our Church reflected. The students I use the series with are 90% POC.

Virgin Mary whom she considers a virgin even after the birth of Jesus. How could Mary still be a virgin when the Bible explains that her virginity was limited to the time before the birth of Christ? "But he did not know her until she gave birth to a son. And he called his name Jesus" (Matthew 1:25).
