Over the last ten years, PyData grew from being a nascent sideshow on the outskirts of the “big data” movement to becoming the dominant language and ecosystem for modern machine learning and artificial intelligence. As a success story for open source, it rivals the story of how Linux laid the foundation for the modern internet economy.
