Life is so crazy. His momentum was slowed because of his injury and now when he's kind of like in the background he's healthy as hell.

His demon character is what really separated him from the other wrestlers and made him stood out!

To be fair they did kinda bury the demon. They took his extremely special persona who only needed to show up once or twice a year and was supposed to basically be unstoppable and made him lose, I think twice in a row. It should have only popped up at Mania or one of the other big 4 PPVs with him winning if it pops up and Vince just saw it as a toy making machine

Demon Balor should have been undefeated in wwe. Would have held some merit

It's not a crutch at all, it's an alter ego

He probably retired it because wwe treated him the same when he wore the makeup. It used to be an instant win, now it's an instant lose. Plus all the reasons listed in the video

Finn balor is a wrestling icon he is the founder of bullet club, trained so many wrestlers like Becky etc., second leader of judgement day and many more achievements he truly deserves more respect

It may be time consuming but goddamnit was “The Demon” over. Wish Vince did more with it; but you all know how he is

Anyone seeing the undertaker knows that something meant to terrorize the fans will make them love you more

As someone who did this in college for a costume contest. Can confirm it took me 8 hours to get all the paint on. Taking it off wasnt fun either

He should have protected the Demon character like Scott Hall protected the Razor's Edge move. If he wasn't winning, then he should have just refused to use the Demon character. It's a persona he should have brought out only when the odds were stacked against him in a PPV.

It will be amazing if can pull it of with a body suit and face paint which will not take 6 hours
if he do a proper storyline he can revive this alter ego and it will be remembered for ages

I like the idea of that his demon can return in the very high personal stakes, like what happend in his last match versus Edge
Makes it pretty special and gives it a different story level elevation

It should be treated like something special, and only brought out when the story demands something so intense that Finn MUST become the demon. But they also need to protect the character anytime they use it or it loses it's meaning.

Like Foley did with Cactus Jack. The fueds with Triple H and Randy Orton wouldn't have been the same if it was the same Mankind or Mick Foley we'd seen, but the carnage those matches had and the respect given to the character Cactus Jack meant any match with Cactus Jack was gonna be a life or death struggle

I still remember that video that aired on Raw when Balor came on the main roster....the video in which he introduced the fans to his demon....to the meaning of Balor...it was awesome.

I don’t think he will ever be main event again without it the whole point is needing the demon to come out to beat the odds
