no matter what i choose it will always say that i need a usb for some reason, i’ve tried to initialize the ps4 several times but every time it just says i need a usb then it turns off, but when i turn it back on it doesn’t go to the ps4 menu, it just says i need a usb

HELP. I watched a video on how to manually eject a disc from a ps4 slim using the screw underneath. It worked. Now it won't accept any disc even when I've tried turning the screw back the other way and now ALSO it refuses to install the latest update. I tried formatting and reinstalling my apps (I use it for watching Netflix etc in the bedroom) so gaming on it isn't a big issue but I don't like not being able to update or play games incase my original one I bought in 2013 decides to die.

Nope....even in safe mode NY controller won't respond when I hot the PS button. I have it plugged in via micro USB, but all it does is glow orange and if I hit the PS button it reacts with a quick flashing white light, then nothing again.
