This monitor is badass.. I've tried the Asus swift OLED pg42uq and the LG ultragear 45 and this is by far the best one..the picture quality is great out of the box, the pg42uq is nice too but is more expensive and the XG43UQ is a better buy

There’s only a problem with the other monitor you suggested, since it has hdmi 2.0, as you said, it doesn’t support 4k 120 for consoles…

I've been trying to decide on my Gaming + streaming setup. I currently have 2 x 32" 144Hz 2K monitors, but my primary one is getting old and I want something 4K to use for my PS5.
Trying to decide between another 32" like the MSI Optex or Aorus FI32U, which have QLED and IPS displays, or this XG43UQ (and making my other 32" portrait) however its only a VA panel, and i've heard bad things about the smearing/ghosting on this with FPS gaming. Its hard to find a store that actually has one in display to check it out in person and try it before buying.

I am using on PC w/ NVIDIA 2080ti and having a hard time with getting good blacks. This regular 1080p/60hz monitor I have that sits next to to my XG43UQ is so much darker. I have played with every setting to no avail. Any advice I should try?

I was one of the first to receive one…at least that’s what Asus said when they reached out to me for a review…they were very honest…said that a few had been returned and the feed back that they were getting from vendors was that it was just not what the consumer said it would be. I’ll tell you what I told them, I’m no expert in this field…but it’s by far the very best I’ve ever had. And I love it.
