Tesla cuts through flood waters in Dubai while other cars got stuck

Tesla vehicles apparently navigate water as well as they do roads. This EV was seen wading through several feet of water on Dubai's flooded streets.

It cut right through the water while other vehicles got stuck.

EVs perform better in water than combustible engines because they don't have air intakes or exhaust pipes that can take in water. But experts say people should not drive EVs through floodwater.

Ya but they later cach on fire days after from salt water corrosion. I definitely suggest you spray it down underneath after your crossing through any salt water. Teslas would be so much more desirable if they had hydrogen fuel cells. Less weight and switch fuel canisters in seconds. Cool boat car.

If a Tesla car is submerged in water, and some of that water gets into the electrical system, the circuit breakers trip. The car will just float in the water, but sometimes can catch fire. 🔥 It happens from time to time. No big deal. 😅
