9 years ago we had sudden rain & flash flooding where I work, I arrived with my EV and another big truck made it in, work was cancelled as some gas cars were getting stuck trying to leave or enter, I Just finished what I had to do for the day & drove home no issues driving past the stalled vehicles - that car still drives like when new.

These cars has dual layer of shield sealed underneath which cover the battery no chances of damage at all.

You see, when you want to go into deep flood water you need to either enable a special mode in the car that creates a higher pressure inside of car or just put the air into highest possible mode and it will do similar thing. Now when you open the window you remove all that effect and the water can pour into the car without any resistance
