How I Built & Fully Customized My Cozy Mechanical Keyboard

Today, I will be building a new warm and cozy custom mechanical keyboard, featuring the Keychron Q1!

Follow along as I craft the design for the keyboard and bring it to life by creating my own custom keycap set.

my keyboard preference is a 65% with yellow linear switches and a white or pastel themed keycaps! I like to have foam added onto the base of my board to have a thonky sound whilst typing! #xteamlife

Question: Do the spray-painted keys feel tacky or sticky when you press them? Your method for modded the keyboard is perfect, but I would not want to keep having my fingers stick to the keys as I'm adverse to anything "sticky." It's a tactile thing for me that I try to avoid. 🙃

Being in a warm and cosy room with the sound of soft typing is almost tranquility itself. As a place we spend most of our times in, it's really nice to be able to make it feel happy to be in. It's why I like linear switches, they sound so relaxing! I would most likely go with a keycap set that has green accents! A keyboard friend for my plants! 🌱💚
