About 200 million Wolbachia-Aedes aegypti mosquitoes have been bred at the National Environment Agency's (NEA) "mosquito factory" since it was opened in 2019 and then released in certain areas of the island, to reduce the Aedes mosquito population.

This method works to lower aedes here in Malaysia, I believe this method can be used to lower other types of mosquitoes too

I am not sure if the wolbachia are indeed all males. Because whenever they released it, I will be circulated by mosquitoes trying to bit me

Singapore hard to have good scientists or thinkers. Because at the formative age when you think all is going well, you need to be enlisted into army. Creativity and thinking processes would be curtailed. People already an introvert and an intellect might probably get worst to become a yes man. Hence no choice have to recruit foreign scientists.

NEA was too busy measuring distances, getting into arguments, or catching the odd maskless persons - all in support of the equally, if not more incompetent Min of health’s useless mandates, instead of doing their job, hence the current situation.
