Considering you're likely to be hit anyway it could maybe be useful as just a safeguard for when you are hit, but the debuffs it affects aren't really super common so I doubt it would really be too helpful really.

This is the Laudanum accesory which has been in the game for years, but it has been resprited and given a new name.
Also pretty sure Ichor is pronounced as "eye-core"
Edit: nvm laudanum is still in the game this is just an upgrade

Awhile back, a lore item for the crimson used to let you teleport with a hotkey, but it would give you the confused effect. So if you used this item + that, you could make a boss arena and TP around well before rod of discord and have insane dmg buff with it. Tho they got rid of lore effects so this item is just meh now.

This would be very useful when used with the Elysian Aegis, but you get the Skull Crown around the same time you're able to make the Asgardian Aegis, so there's no real reason to use it except for the Rage & Adrenaline bonuses and the extra defense, though that's been enough reason for me to use it in a couple of my playthroughs.
