How to fly FIRST CLASS with RYANAIR

Is it possible to have first class experience with Ryanair? That’s the question we set out to answer in our latest video.

We booked seat 1A and a few extras to see if we could make our short Ryanair flight from Stansted to Madrid feel that bit more premium.

Secret tip (worked last time I was at STN a couple months ago): To bypass all the mall BS that comes after security, instead of scanning a fast track pass to make the shortcut door open, you can also ... just push the door with your hand.
Pro: Doesn't cost money.
Con: You have to use your hands and miss out on fancy automatic door action.

This video has once again shown what an idiot I am sometimes. I lived in London for 4 years and flew out of Stansted at least 50 times. I always had FastTrack and didn't know that you can save yourself the long walk through the DutyFree area and get directly to the lounge via a shortcut.

Great video. Just out of principle, I will fly to my old home country again next year and then take the shortcut. 😝

I travel on Ryanair quite a bit, and I find there are usually more people with Priority boarding than non-priority. I think the demand is for the additional baggage allowance, and not getting on the plane first (or as is often the case, first to get on the bus which takes us to the aircraft).

When you book with RyanAir select the basic seat with no baggage, continue to the end and it will offer you baggage options/prices for chepaer than it was at the very start

I work for Ryanair out of Stansted, this is one thing that keeps coming up. Unfortunately “priority boarding” usually means you can bring a bag onboard and a bag in the hold, not being on the plane first.

The problem with the front row on Ryanair is that when the plane lands, everyone piles forward and it can be tough getting back to get your carry on luggage, especially if you're not one of the first on board

i think the problem is the fact that more than half of the extra cost is actually the car to the airport. if you took first class stansted express it would still be first class but definitely cheaper and quicker :)
i have never booked for priority security as usually you never wait for more than 20 mins for security and i think that the lounge in stansted is much better than many others, you can have a proper hot meal
