Doug, the problem with the doors is a defect in your car. The doors are design to not have the 1, 2, 3 steps that "mainstream" cars do. I believe you can make a new claim to your warranty.

They added those disclaimers for certain British Secret Agents who have a tendency to wreck their Astons in Revolutions and Nuclear fuel.

I've valeted a few of these and you should get the doors fixed. They are actually supposed to stay wherever you place them since unlike normal doors they don't have the 2 stages, but a piston. It's really cool. When it works.

You rev the engine.... Suddenly all of those odd quirks just fade to the back of your mind.

Your doors are in fact broken (or more accurately they're not functioning as intended). Normally they stay where you put them. You need to use your warrant again and get them fixed because when you go to sell the car the new buyer will expect them to function properly.

Making jokes about owning an Aston Martin is like making jokes about a perfectly tailored bespoke suit. I'm too busy admiring the lines of the Aston to pay attention to the jokes.

I just got one of these (2010) and would say that the doors are quite light actually... I have to be careful not to slam them too hard when I close them

Parking brake is interesting, theres a red light on the dash that shows when the E-brake is pulled at least

for the owners manual you have to tilt it at a 45 degree angle downwards to get it to fit into the glove box, LOL

@Doug DeMuro your doors desperately need new door struts, I had the same problem on mine and replaced it myself. Front wheels off, Fender liners off and then you have access. Really helps with the enjoyment of the car.
