I really miss USA made Schrade. I remember them being very reasonably priced and very good quality.

I have the Buck 112 Slim and love its slimness, light weight, unique pocket clip, and crisp sound of the lockback action

Man its refreshing to see some of the classic's that will always be timeless, they in my opinion are the pocket knives that help build this Great Nation!

David consistently provides good reviews and selects highly useful knives. This YouTube clip is no exception. One of the reasons why he does such a great job is because he talks about the usefulness of the blade it's construction advantages and disadvantages as well as the handle and locking mechanisms. He just doesn't reiterate what the manufacturer says, but rather he interprets the product from his use and base of excellent experience passing on that knowledge and wisdom to the people who tune into his YouTube clips. In my estimation, he's probably the best overall knife reviewer out there, and I have watched it many of them! Keep up the great work David!

I like the CV carbon steel on case knives. It developed a patina and gets WAY sharper than the stainless low budget 440A. Usually only come in the yellow handles But they are making more and more with the jigged bone handles in the carbon steel.

Totally agree about Case knives in yellow Delrin. My collection is overwhelmingly modern-style knives but I can't resist a few traditional-style knives. By coincidence, I have a yellow Case Tribal Lock in my pocket right now.

You left out the Buck Spitfire! Thumb-hole for one handed opening, lock-back for strength, 420hc and aluminum scales for extreme corrosion resistance and can be had for a little less than the buck sprint while feeling more premium! And of course, that buck warranty and made in the USA.

Stockman is my favorite slip joint pattern as well. Useful blades. This list is good. I own the Buck 112 Slim in that color. It’s a good working knife for out in the yard. The Leek was the knife that got me started collecting. Still a good EDC carry.

Love all of them. The Link got me into knives that didn't come from a flea market.

I really like Kershaw knives, and my Link is one of my favorite EDCs, along with the Kershaw Blur. The fixed blade that I carry almost daily is the CRKT Minimalist Drop Point. I definitely need to check out the Buck Sprint.

The yellow in the case knives handle reminds me of the yellowing the old white plastic used in computers and fridges

I love my Leek blade stamped Dec 05. Carried it daily for years never let me down I have the frame lock & bought my wife the that same black & copper one. My fixed blade EDC is the the Gerber Premium Gator drop point. I get compliments and asked about it very often. It looks a fancy but not tactical and scary like some other 4 inch fixed blades.
