Have you tried Zero Shine, dermimatch? Its the best thing I've tried for top of head shine.

Great video as always Ben. After blade shaving my head for more than a decade, I recently switched to a blade on oster 76 clippers. It’s a decent change...a lot less shiny and I can get away with doing it every 3 days.

Witch hazel works well to reduce shine, but don't use it immediately after you shave. My hitlist for a great head shave; I use Gillette razors with HeadSlick cream. Propermale's head shave towel work well too, especially for irritation.

I use Magic Shave Cream. I let sit for about 15 minutes, and then get in the shower to wash it off. When I wash it off, I use either a washcloth or most of the time, a body sponge. I never use a razor on my head nor face. Of course, I don't let my hair grow out so much, that it will clog up my drain. I've been doing this since 1990.
