How do I become a web developer? IMO, the best way to learn web development is to build something meaningful, over and over again.

1. Come up with an app idea
2. Fail trying to build it
3. Fill in gaps with free tutorials
4. Repeat

Unpopular opinion: you never need to sit down and learn HTML or CSS. Just learn it as you go while doing projects.
