here’s a toxic best friend story (this is true btw)

so i was in 4th grade i was about 10 this was like 2 and half years ago and like i had another best friend to we were like a friend group of 3 and like i met my real best friend not the fake one we’re gonna call my real best friend who is still friends with me to this day we will call her skylar and the fake friend sarah so i saw skylar on the bars alone and she was hanging on them a weird way and then i wanted to play on the bars to so i was over there and then she was like “oh hi” and then i said hi back and then we just started playing and then sarah came up to us and said “can i hang out with you guys” so then we said sure and then we all became very good friends and then we exchanged numbers and sarah kept calling us everyday and it was really annoying but we answered it anyway cause we didn’t wanna be rude and then like a month later she just started bossing us around and kept manipulating us so then we got tired of it and we told her to stop and she said she will but she didn’t and then she was being really mean to us then we realized she was a big red flag and a couple months later she made skylar cry in pe because she wouldn’t let her join the games we were playing cause when the teacher was talking she was asking me to play sticks and i said sure and then we all saw skylar was crying so we checked on her and then we talked to the teacher and then we all just thought it was best that we had a break from eachother for a bit since it was the day before spring break so then we all had a break from eachother then she started doing it again and then a year later in 5th grade she stopped bossing us around cause i was in the middle cause skylar and sarah weren’t friends in 5th grade so i had a 2 sided friendship but we all still sat together and there is this game we like to play called gaga ball and me and sarah teamed in it cause we were friends so i accidentally got her out and i was like “oh sorry mb” and then i accidentally got her out again and she got mad at me and didn’t wanna be my friend anymore so she started talking to other people and then i was hanging on the wall of the gaga pit and i was like calling her a spoiled brat and i said it to her face cause she told me she had an apple watch iphone 13 pro ipad airpods and macbook pro and she had all of those so i said it to her face and she was like “did you just call me spoiled” and then after that we just weren’t friends anymore and that was only like a year ago and yeah it was a stupid reason and we realized she was just a fake friend

Bit of a vent but here’s my story
Let’s call the toxic one Sam. So Sam was a new kid in our school and my besties weren’t there. (One had moved the other was at a wedding.) the only person I wanted to be with was just constantly doing gymnastics (which I don’t do) with Sam and some others. Let’s call the person I wanted to be with Amy. So Amy one day introduced me to Sam and I wasn’t ready for this and was acting kinda weird. And Sam said “I don’t like her” and ran off. But later she asked me for help with something and that’s how we became friends. We would always hang out at recess until Sam said “I don’t wanna play/hang out with you at recess but we can talk during lunchi found new friends.” I was crushed by this. Why would my best friend choose some older kids over me. And we never did talk. Yet despite this we’d have play dates ig u could call them but then I just broke after the second when Sam was introducing me to her sis. But she said “she can be annoying” I was crushed. For some reason Sam still thinks we are besties. And my other besties are kinda friends with her. Ive not really told anyone about this. I’ve not told my besties or Sam. What should I do.

I have a toxic best friend story too.

When I was in second grade, there was this girl I was best friends with, let’s call her A. So A had given me a friendship, necklace, and a few weeks later, she asked for it back to give to another friend. Being in second grade, I dealt with the the only way I thought normal. I kept it, moved, and I still have it in my bedroom to this day. I was a toxic child too.😈

My friend I knew since she was in pre school did the same thing to me . So I’m a year older than my friend where gonna call her tami. Tami was so nice, I always used to wave at her in the hallways when I saw her.

But once’s I got in 3rd grade( I was in the intermediate school she was in the elementary) I went to daycare . One of my friends from daycare knew tami, , she was like omg u know tami . I said yes and she told me all the stuff she’s been talking abt me and so on . We lived across the street from each other and I still played with her and acted like I knew nothing she said abt me .

One the 4th grade hits I had my first crush on this boy (let’s call him Kayden ). Kayden liked me and I liked him. Well the day after the last day of school in 4th Kayden comes down the hill we live . The next day tami tells me abt how she how she seen him at the pool and wanted to hold hands with her . ( holding hands in 4th grade or hugs was a big thing okay 😭😭😭😭) So she was like I like him .. I’m in my head like girl wtf I said okay and told my new friend (call her ari ) I don’t like him and tami likes him . ( I introduced tami and ari and whatever )


A few weeks before the first day of 5th a new boy comes . Me ari 4 of the 1stt graders are playing outside and seeing him by himself . I introduced him and we all became friends . Then he tells the other boys in the neighborhood that he likes me . (I guess I forced myself to like him bc I only liked him bc they said I did ) So TELL ME WHY AFTER I TELL ARI AND TAMI I LIKE HIM TAMI 2 DAYS LATER TELLS ARI SHE LIKES HIM .


Moral of the story I stopped talking to her bc she’s weird but she kept talking abt me and I got mad . She knew I was mad and kept doing it and I kept my cool . But some of the boys I was friends with in her grade wanted us to fight and told her I wanted to fight her or whatever. And I never said this but then she got scared and stopped . I still see her in the hallways in school till this day and don’t talk to her .





If u have a friend like this please stop being friends with this person bc that isn’t a good friends ship
And if ur this person In a friend ship please stop it gives u wanna be that person or gives Very much obsessive behaviour love <3
