5 min crafts is usually so ridiculous and I clicked on this video for a laugh but no joke the first video with the milk works - i broke my favourite mug and i spent ages emailing and researching trying to find a company who sold superglue which could be in contact with ma tea - in the end i thought i had nothing to waste and tried this seeing it on other videos - the only difference is i boiled the mug in the milk for 2 hours first and then left it in for 2 days AND IT WORKED LIKE MAGIC

That's a fascinating claim!

While milk does contain a protein called casein, which has some adhesive properties, it's highly unlikely that simply soaking a broken tray in milk for two days would effectively repair it.
