Hello World,

In this episode, we will be learning about ReactiveX java and how to get started working on android with RxJava. We will consume a GitHub gist API and display the files character length and file name in Textview.

I have a doubt! If the getGist() method throws IOException, obviously you will receive on getGistObseervable(), correct ? So here Inside there It seems that the Exception you haven't handled, so user may receive null value in onNext(). If any Exception happened that would alert and call onError(). But it seems that it missed out to handled IOException.

Can you explain this ? #AndroidABCD

i cant get one example of this to even work.... not sure why i even tried to do this video word for word and STILL get errors and not working!! rxjava is the most frustrating thing
