For those looking to address this mental shift... use an animal... in my case, my dog as a gauge as to whats best. Is my dog bored? Is he scared or worried about tomorrow? Or is he always always always in the moment? Humans are the only thing on the planet that suffers (difference between suffering and physical pain)... and we are supposed to be most intelligent right? Use that intelligence to decide... and it will feel clunky when youve never chosen to do this. Dont allow the world around you, the words of others etc to dictate your emotional wellbeing... good or bad.

YES - this is fundamental to how it all works. I am a scientist, but I have recognised that there is undoubtedly 'Something' that creates and develops the whole universe by manipulating the chance and probability of every event and its outcome. This belief is called Problacism, and is very similar to Taoism, but it attempts to give some sort of mathematical description and shape to how the Dao works which can be understood by everyone, including scientists, mathematicians and atheists. The closest depiction of the shape of the Doa can be found by zooming into and out of a Mandelbrot set - It is the same 'shape' at every level from the quantum to the cosmological scale - note that the Paisley pattern is similar to these shapes and that's why I wear paisley silk ties, waistcoat backings . We all have the ability to engage and act on behalf of the Something, but the vast majority do not recognised the part they can play in the flow of nature. I just follow the Gui. delines of Problacism to advise me what I should do in every situation. Consequently, I am totally content and at peace with myself and I don't have any fears, anxieties or depression. Trust in 'the Something' and be relentless.
