I really like having the file explorer tree on the right hand side of the IDE. That way when you open/close it, it doesn't move your code window and disrupt your gaze/attention

U get the <leader>n for terminal, but as u are in terminal how u get back? Because your leader is now regular space in terminal. Can somebody help me?

i love zed - its still kinda buggy and doesn't have remote extension but i really enjoy it and has vim bindings out the gate

vim extension is a must.

don't agree on your take on inline errors - it is super useful.

also not opening a file tree is impossible in bigger projects

don't use a mouse, but a trackpad is enough for those "tabbed out" moments. if on a laptop, ofc

I am too old to learn VIM, becuase learning VIM and getting efficent in it takes years of pratice. My friend got good at VIM after 5-6 years of practice I would rather learn DEV OPS or Machine larning in that time and pivot my career :).
