The prefab home industry is getting an overhaul as new companies enter the market to meet demand for modern options. I've been following the industry world wide and it's exciting to see the evolution of whats available. Right now there are a lot of buyers looking for modern options and companies are stepping up to create amazing options. One very cool option I found is a New Zealand based company called Nook that builds architecturally inspired prefab homes. In this video I look at who they are, what they offer and how much their homes cost. Watch and learn about this New company offering beautiful prefab homes and expanding the production.

The Breezehouse is everything I'm looking for in a house. Serenity is also nice. I like their look.

I love these, but as I’ve stated before… flat roofs + snow means issues later on. Knowing if these are available with angled roofs for mountain areas would be helpful.

I feel like, thanks to your channel, I’m getting exposure to different companies from around the world and that can only help me make a smarter decision when the time comes for me to purchase a prefab home. Thanks Kerry. Great video as always. 😎🤙🏽

'Nook' is an interesting and inspiring story. Sadly, it's irrelevant in personal terms to anyone not immigrating to NZ. By contrast, we have a massive installed base of manufactured home factories...and even dealer networks to handle the 'sale to delivery' details. One (or more) of these companies has a huge opportunity in front of them, if they could only see it. Marry the inspiring architecture and finishings with their off-site cost economies and commercial success is guaranteed. And lose the aluminum siding, obviously.

Very stylish offerings Kerry ~ I like them all, but can understand why the tranquil nook is the most popular as it give some nice bang for the buck.

Love the architecture and sustainabity of these homes. That is what we a looking for less of an imprint environmently sustainable.A 7 or 8 star rating for efficiency in top insulation in warmth and coolness. And a beautiful organic veggie and herb garden of course with a chook pen.Thank you for your great research looking forward to the next.We do have Fox Modular and TR Homes and Modular WA and Saltus Build in WA just built a great home down in Wellington Mills in the South West of West Aust they are great, but pricing could be a little more competitive.

How does a flat roof do with rain & snow? There are very few homes in my area with flat roof & we have 4 seasons. I know some have had to "re-seal" flat roof periodically. With rain run-off does it pour down windows & doors or create a ditch around home?

If the breeze can cut their cost by close to half, it's very appealing. Until then regular build will suffice unless supply chain affects site plans

GEE..THIS ONE is closest if not IT for what i would want when have the funds for it. I love the names ...of each model...What a great find . I still wonder though about these homes with flat roofs which is said to be very undesirable for places with snow and even a lot of rain so i hope we see more of this kind of home.but with more functional roofs to avoid snow pile up and weight and/or excessive water damage ...and that we get these happening in US (and specifically PNW) . Wonder if some investor and builder ....will look at that ....? Maybe one or more will see Kerry's vid and do

These are really neat! Though I'm not really a big fan of the bedroom having sliding doors to the outdoors. That kind of gives me anxiety.

Hi Kerry! I’m loving your channel! I LOVE the layout of the blue houses too and these, they just work! Anyone else doing similar layouts? I need a closed bedroom as my husband and I have different schedules. A lot of these companies have open layouts or a bedroom/living room. Thanks for everything you’re doing!

Kerry I'm a retired senior with 1.1 acre of land outside LA (Stallion Springs) and I thought your comment about only seeing floor plans could change - I like the Azure and have the land - if you can broker the sale, 1.10 acre is enough space to record beginning to end a project you did in CA - Culver City is not that far from the property - I'm on fixed income but live within my means as limited as it is - you need a 'project' and I need a dwelling on my land so I can return to CA - financing needed.
