If you're spending $580 per square foot on a house shaped like a box, cost of living was not the reason you got a prefab away from the city.

It's so cool to see all these new concepts of prefab homes. Instead if seeing a real home that we can't afford, we can see homes that don't exist that we can afford.

If your prefab is more expensive than a site-built home you’re doing something wrong.

These prefabs are priced with one thing in a high profit margin! I agree with Del Cox. Keep looking, Terry. There has to be a good value out there. The market needs to go thru a "correction"!

What's the point if they are more expensive than site built? These seem way too expensive per sqft.

I love your presentations since I am currently a prefabrication sales person in California, just starting my own independent marketing and sales company. My only complaint is a universal one and it pertains to just about all of your videos except the first few in 2021. For potential clients/buyers you should briefly discuss the materials used to build every single unit or manufacturer that you come across! Why? Because buyers want to know the quality and durability of the product they are buying! Is it made from wood, steel or aluminum framed? Is it a concrete exterior? How much does the unit weigh? 6 tons, 8 tons? What are the interior materials? Wood, fiberglass? Ceramic? Stone? And single pane, double pane windows doors? Aluminum or fiberglass framed, wooden frame? Yes I know details, details and more details. But when access the manufacturer, s website these things or rather this information is hard to find, trust me far too many times manufacturers spend too much time discussing their vision, philosophy and corporate strategy along with goals, but very little time telling us exactly what materials are used in construction! A conventional site built home uses wood, concrete foundation and stucco etc. So customers don’t ask, however a factory built home must win over buyers with superior quality of materials and construction along with cost!

Are there any manufacturing companies on the east coast? Seems as though everything is on the west coast. That might be a good video to do.

Thanks for the info Kerry, luv your videos
Q. Most of the new frefab companies only either work within CA or the continental US. What about US companies that ship worldwide? Do you know of any new modern prefab homes/companies that ship worldwide? Especially to Caribbean or Latin America?

Your videos are so informative, thank you! What do you think the realistic wait time would be for a home from one of these new companies?

As a subscriber to your excellent channel and a fellow BC'er, I'm curious as to your thoughts on Premier David Eby's speech with regards to a setting the groundwork for goals in a much needed building boom to house an ever expanding population.

Way to go, Cavco. Now how about building it to non-park model standards.
