At 5:32 it didn't even recognize pedestrians at curbside, apparently because there were shrubs obstructing their legs from view. They stopped and didn't step off the curb because they were being careful, but they had the right to cross in front of the car. It only takes a combination of small things to confuse the system, things any decent driver wouldn't have a problem with.

I don't think you're whining or anything, you are frustrated and that's understandable, don't apologize so much for that. Other channels seem to experience much better improvement. Maybe it has something to do with the road marking in your area, or data? Dunno. But as you said, as a big believer you got to keep training it, because it will get better :)

FSD has consists of perception which is the solid part and is based on Deep Neural Nets (DNN).
The navigation and path planning is the weaker part and is not based on DNN.
We should have at least 1 year to have a solid FSD in the Bay Area and an additional year for the rest of the country.

It's a neural net. It's a black box so it behaves unexpectedly depending on completely unknowable defferences in lightning, and other inputs. I doubt you will find any consistency even if Tesla kept iterating this failed approach forever.

I watch a lot maybe all YouTube fsd 10 videos and and overall really great experience, only one had the same kind of issue you pointed out, like try to turn right at intersection or to pass some stop car at a traffic light, the guy said he reset and recalibrate the cameras, so maybe give it a shot and try again? Hope it would help. Thanks for sharing!!

One of the other beta testers had to re calibrate their cameras and reboot the car - to make V10 work well, maybe that might help ?

Have you rebooted to see if some of the issues will repair? Some others have and seen improvements. Appreciate your critical analysis and feedback to Tesla. Sometimes repeating similar routes can be helpful to see if issues recur. After reboot? Some amazing attributes seen with system and some seemingly silly frustrating ones. Thanks!

Thanks for the honest reviews. We need to see the “warts and all”. I have seen some testers have success improving performance by doing a system reboot. Have you tried that? I would be interested if that trick actually does anything or not. As always, thanks for bringing us along on the ride!

Your problem is that you're comparing Beta 10's behavior to a sober person's.

It's possible they completely replaced the router with a neural network, as they showed on AI day with the car park example, in the first instance it could get worse before it gets way better.
Also on highways I don't think they are making any changes yet. The one network to rule them all isn't done yet.

This definitely looks bad. Especially when it tried to go around using the left lane while at a stop. It's weird if you need to recalibrate cam and reset. Does that mean every release needs one. Jeez!

I've been waiting since 2016 with 3 Teslas in the garage. "Blow your mind" - this phrase has been repeated by Elon and he continues to "cry wolf" on FSD. I made a ton of $ on the stock and try to be as supportive as possible, but man... I'm reaching a breaking point. A person is only as good as his word, and I'm losing faith in Elon. A person who is always late, does not respect or appreciate your time.
