Okay dude, I think I now believe in ESP! I spent all day yesterday and half the night trying to figure out this "squeaky" noise that was added on top of the audio when I exported. Tried everything I could think of including new codecs and drivers, driving me freakin' batty! And lo an behold flailing through google searches, up pops a video from someone I already subscribe to, "an hour ago" that solves my problem with a 2 minute video. Thanks man! I think I can sleep tonight now...

I was concerned about audio issues before I started rendering. I'm glad you shared this information! Finished the project with no problems.

THANK YOU!! Just tried exporting my last video in QuickTime 24 bit and it CRUSHED the issue! The music no longer has that weird wring to it, and it is so much more enjoyable.
The files are now a bit larger but the result is so much better. Thank you so much again for this video! Cheers

BIG help! I had a different glitch where when I would burn subtitles or even just include them separately on exporting the video, the audio would get entirely trashed (hard to describe, but very glitchy, winy, similar to a radio with bad signal and heavy static). I made the changes you listed above and now have a video with clean audio and subtitles burnt in - just how I needed it! Thanks Jay!

Life saver, thank you! Managed to fix audio after exporting it like you suggested in the other video, then adding the sound as another track in the original video! What a chore!

Going to give this a try tomorrow. Jumped from 15 to 19 and all of a sudden have run into video and audio issues that I haven’t before. Got the video figured out, but the audio has been killing me and I make drum content. Thanks for putting this together 🙌🏽

Thanks a million for making this video! I'm an audio guy, but not a video guy, and trying to export video while retaining audio quality has been more of a hassle than it needs to be. I've actually come to the conclusion that most software companies are not testing enough for PCs, and the majority of their quality control is done on Macs. Not just for Davinci Resolve, but for DAWs (Digital Audio Workstations) as well.
Anyway, it's great to know that your channel is out there, as I'm getting more into video. Liked and subbed.

Do you know if this issue is still present in Resolve 18?

I was noticing this issue on drum recordings rendered out on my videos. Thought it was audio butler. Stumbled upon this same solution by trial and error. Good stuff. This is correct.

OMG, thank you. I've had this problem for like 12 months. I found a workaround - you need to create a Compound Clip from all your audio files on a timeline, put it all on one audio track, and set this track to mono. This method works, but it's a bit time-consuming if you do that in every edit, and it also limits you to only using mono audio in exported files. Your method is way better, so thanks!

This was driving me nuts, I had some welding sound effects that was sounding "pixelated" only once exported. Your video helped me fix Thanks
