HART TOOLS 3/8" flex head extendable ratchet review after using about everyday as a professional mechanic. was worried about bending it but found the weak spot, the ratchet teeth are very shallow and strip easy under medium to higher torque. the slide lock works well to extend it. the off and on switch is opposite of every other ratchet I've ever used, it get confusing sometimes. oversized comfort grip handle is a little hard to get used to with smaller hands.

I haven't had any problem with my hart 3/8 flex head. I ripped apart my rear end on my '04 ford explorer xlt & the shocks/struts.

I got the 1/2 version off ebay a year or more ago for 17.99 free shipping ..
Wow I am so impressed with this I keep it in my jeep for tire changes and general use.
That is the lowest back drag I have ever seen in a 1/2 ratchet. I don't know if I have a 3/8, with such light back drag
And it's strong..I know they are alot more now but very good tool

Looks like they would have benefited from doing a 120 tooth dual pawl design with a 60 tooth gear instead of a weak af 90 tooth gear.

They should have just made it a 72 tooth like a Pittsburgh pro
