Good reasons to own cheap tools they're fairly useful when you need to Jerry rig a tool that you didn't pay too much for

I bought a 3/8 Stanley extendable with a lockable swivel head at Kmart about 10 years ago. Pretty sure it wasn't even $20, my best go to, next to my composite harbor freight! Lol. Never an issue!

I bought a hyper tough 1/2" ratchet. The screws fell out after a week of use. Put some new screws with loctite. I've been using it for about 3 years now with no issues. You can't have nice tools where I work because people will steal them. Shipyards are full of criminals

This is why i dont spend a fortune on tools.

We use those Walmarts at work, I agree there actually pretty good tools as long as nothing isn’t to tight once it’s extended and it starts to bend if I don’t feel it move at all I move to the actual breaker bar I feel like you could easily snap the extendable one of its to tight

I have some hyper tough extendable ones from Walmart I use on oil plugs and stuff and I actually love it's built a lot better than you would think

If you use tools correctly you should not have to buy expensive tools to get a job done.

Not to mention if you break or bend that hart, any walmart with one in stock will warranty it without issue, and we all know how many walmarts there are around

I've had the highest quality to the lowest quality. Snap On is the best quality, but they perform at 100 while Icon, Capri tools, Tekton, Gearwrench performs at least at 90-95%
For pliers, I've always had Channellock /Klein and recently Knipex. Pliers are different that Ratchets, wrenches & sockets to a point
It's all in using the right tool for the right job

I got a bunch of Ares and Capri tools along with some Walmart tools and it is much better than paying hundreds of dollars

Not a pro so the Hart (and the Harbor Freight) do just fine by me. Nice to see that the Hart can take on these tasks if necessary.

Ive always said snap on tools are mechanics ways of showing off to other mechanics because majority of people don't give a shit or know the difference. That being said i have quite a bit of snap on tools 😂 but i have all kinds of tools whatever gets the job done i guess
