I just cut out my 2nd Donny Shirt. I really like it. I made the matchy matchy sewing Clubs chore shorts and they have a similar pocket to the pietra and I turned the pocket to have the stripes go the opposite way and it looks so cute. I think it will be super cute with the Pietra's. I made the Gilbert a few weeks ago for my 14 year old daughter with Bluey fabric. It was a fun sew. I learned a lot of new things making it. I think it will be stunning in the cream viscose!

Ok, so, I’m making just about everything you are. I made my daughter a skirt and cropped top out of fabric just like the white flower fabric. It turned out fabulous, but it was time consuming picking out all the flowers that were going to bulk up the seams. Make sure you have enough time to make that Donny shirt. Now I have to look in my scraps to see if I have enough to make one too with the flower fabric. Cute idea❤

I loved this! This is what I do in my sewing room, just imagine and pair patterns with fabrics. It's so fun! So I think of it as a possibilities video. It's fun to see your ideas for the fabrics. Also, I just came back from a vacation, and yes, I am five pounds heavier!

I just made the Pietra shorts in linen and love them. I did make the tapered leg in twill and loved the structure.

Your Pietra shorts turned out amazing, I love that pattern so much for those shorts. There is a Gertie Loretta shorts pattern on her pattern has a back zipper but I found the easy to sew and like the pietras so flattering.

It is great to have options to sew. I also plan lots and never sew all, however, I enjoy the planning part as much as the sewing part. Have fun with your options!
