Trains at: York, ECML, 20/02/17

A brilliant but short visit to York on the East Coast Mainline where we see plenty of services from Virgin Trains East Coast, Cross Country, Northern, Transpennine Express and Grand Central.

I've always loved coming to York at every opportunity that I get, I do apologise if during this film there seems to be a white affect. I tried sorting it out but it wasn't working.

My next film is going to be Leeds.

Shame i didn't spend a great deal of time at York Station during my 2010 visit much of it apart from York Minster and The Shambles was spent at The National Railway Museum which incidentally has a Viewing deck overlooking much of the tracks leading to the station complete with Departure times and i think was a graph of what York Signalling centre sees on a daily basis.

Great video and I hardly recommend for you to film at Brighton and Gatwick Airport on the Brighton Main Line. 👍😃

I think it might be expensive if my 51 year old friend and a 16+ year old like me to travel from the south east to York though. As much as I would love to go to York I don't know if I am able to go there due to my friend having to pay so much for going to York. She would like to go too but for the same reasons I don't know if both of us can go there from the southeast because she lives in Letchworth and I live in Stevenage.
