Welcome to the latest episode of Big Trip! Today I am at York on the East Coast Main Line where services are seen by London North Eastern Railway, Northern, CrossCountry and Transpennine Express.
York was a brilliant station to film! Architecturally this station is one of the best in the country, a lot of traction variety exists and a lot of really nice views are seen. The station is laid out in a really good way and it is easy to film everything in one place unless you're filming the Harrogate trains starting here. A nice few surprises were seen which you'll see in this video and it was nice to film here in the night sky too, I loved it here and will definitely be back!
