Note: I've re-uploaded this video due to a content ID claim on one of the tracks, which I've now replaced. Apologies for the inconvenience and double notification, but thank you once again for watching the video and all of your continued support.

I‘m fine with this mystery staying unsolved 😂 I definitely don’t think that Mo guy made the original. He doesn’t seem the type to sit back for 4 years, just waiting to see if it got discovered. He’s an opportunist.

This Matty Mo "artist" guy being behind the monolith would honestly be the most disappointing and boring outcome.

Never heard of you until today Matty and I'll have forgotten you tomorrow.

Once again, I am grateful for the initial kick YouTube gave me when they recommended me one of your videos for discovery. I am from then subscribed and this video came in through notifications, and yet again I am not disappointed in the sheer quality your content provides. I watched this event unfold in TV, one monolith was even discovered here in Czechia (you even managed to draw that in the map of the world, I even rewinded to confirm), so I can safely say that the Utah monolith truly inspired almost the entire world. Seeing it unfold again in your video is a blessing. Your narration is unbeliveably calming and straight to the point. That's what I like.

What a treat to wake up to! I am airing on the side of an art stunt as well, though it is kind of cute how whenever something like this happens everyone goes "Yes, big metal thing. We want one for our country as well."

As far as I’m concerned, this monolith is nothing more than an art house project.”let’s put something in desert and see how much attention it will track on social media”.

I've heard and known about a huge number of artists - turns out the one I've never heard in my life until now was the "most famous" one...

here in Australia I only saw headlines about the discovery and then the disappearance of the monolith, I never learned anything else about it. So I appreciate how in-depth you go into the story in this video.
as a subscriber to your channel, I also enjoyed the map/co-ordinate graphics you dropped over the last couple weeks building up to this video. kind of like dropping teaser trailers for a movie :D

congrats on your last video for 2021 and happy holidays to you!

That would be an emotional rollercoaster- waiting patiently for 4 years, wondering every day if it will be the day your art piece is discovered. And then it's found, and the world loves it. Then, within 3 days, companies are using your art piece to sell their stupid products. The anonymous guy who helped take it down was probably one of the people who put it up

Really good video again. Wasnt really interested in the subject but you kept me engaged and interested. I think that Mo dude grabbed it as a marketing idea like he did with fyre. The monolith things popping up worldwide do unnerve me a wee bit after you said about Kubrick. I actually can’t watch that movie as it spooks me way too much.

It's obviously an art installation. People are not used to art installations, so They don't recognize It as one...

Jesus H Christ, Mo sounds like those guys from the Hybrid episode from South Park. He sounds like he's actually giving HIMSELF that hwak tup. He sounds like he has a picture of himself on his bedside cabinet.

I don't know why, but The Democratic republic of the Congo just assuming it's related to Satan and burning it is strangely funny to me...

People like Mo are to blame for the public viewing artists as pretentious A holes

Nobody wearing a '2001' style man-ape costume? That would have been the coolest thing to see here!

I went and visited it before it was taken up. Just a random art project. For what reason we may never know. The concrete saw marks tell me someone visited the site and made pretty detailed plan of attack to put this in. I wish it was Aliens.
