The monolith even had Rivets on it!?! How did someone Put it there, then Remove it, WITHOUT Anyone knowing? It must've easily fitted onto a flatbed truck. It was Triangular, like a toblerone, but seemed to have something inside it? Some people Somewhere are having a great giggle at all of this. Kinda like those guys that were making Crop Circles with a Plank of wood and Rope!?! I'd look into Who lives nearby and owns a Diner/Motel/Trinket Shop or something, having done this for Tourist $$$. I think someone thought "In this most mental year of 2020, I'll do this and watch what happens!". It's going to go down in History. That's for sure.

Utah is Mormon country, where the further in the mountains the stranger the sects. There's a whole cosmic side to Mormonism and it wouldn't surprise me if this monolith has something to with one of those sects

I'm sure that it was placed there by a artist. It was probably removed by the creator in fear of fines, and to avoid lawsuits if people get hurt trying to find it. Or someone took it thinking it'll be a great addition to their man cave😁

I have 2 working theories;
Theory #1: It was put there by the Great(?) State of Utah to make a new Roswell to get people to come to Utah, cause let's face it, it's Utah, nuff said. They were probably hoping that some unsuspecting hiker or ATV dudes would find it but unfortunately they forgot it was Utah and, well, please don't make me say it again cause I don't want a bunch of people from Utah showing up at my door. Oh wait, they can't read in Utah

Theory #2: It was made by a bunch of welding students, again from Utah, made from 1/8 to 1/4 inch thick aluminium. They were probably sitting around one night really drunk talking about some really dumb crap that would give the average person's aneurysm an aneurysm, again because they are in Utah. One got the bright idea to take the monolith out to the desert and take pictures to show their "lame" friends who were hanging out with their girlfriends how cool they are, again Utah. When they got there they realized that they forgot their phones to take a picture. So they all hop in car and go get the camera but upon return they realized that they had forgotten where they had put it, the Utah thing again. One day to their admonishment it shows up on the "talking movie picture box" so they have a bright idea to go back a and get it.
