Spoiler alert: The Utah monolith was just an art project that a couple of guys did. They then went and took it back out of the canyon once it started getting too much attention. The artists decided that all of the traffic it generated was causing too much damage to the area.

I can imagine the people who build those monoliths and giggling when they watched this while the Historians are trying to find some meaning behind them being built.

This right here is why I can't take the history channel seriously anymore

Even though man made, that first one being out there hiding and waiting to be found for a couple of years, is still a really cool story.

Right off the bat,
It looks man made with man made materials.
I see finger prints all over the sections with rivits or screws as well....

I wondered where that went. I knew I'd dropped it somewhere in the Utah desert.

I found an old abandoned VW Beetle on the back of my property. But it didn't disappear it still out there.

Too bad it's no longer there. Long gone, sadly.

They never mention how deep in the ground they go or how stable they are (or not).

I get so mad when she says ‘and they started showing up’ instead of saying humans copied them and put them there.

Do you know that if you say "Gullible" out loud, very slowly, it'll sound like you're actually saying "Oranges"!

If you won't believe me, try it out for yourself!

One appeared in my backyard overnight. Whoever put it there made absolutely no noise at all. I didn't want it there and I did everything I could to remove it. Upon digging around the perimeter I discovered that this was embedded several feet underground and I knew I would have to call for a machine digger to pull this massive metal object out of the ground. They said they would come the next day. Well, the next day arrived and I woke up early only to find it wasn't there anymore. No hole was left behind. No lifted dirt. The grass looked like it never even happened. And there's a very good reason for that. It's because it never really happened and I was just bored and started to write this senseless comment for absolutely no reason at all. Sorry if you made it this far. I'm about as truthful as any episode of Ancient Aliens.

Stupid story, but hearing Bill Shatner’s soothing voice makes it all worth it…
